Toshiki Soejima

Meet Dr. Toshiki Soejima, a dentist with a unique journey from Japan to the U.S. At the age of 8, he and his family moved from Japan to a rural town just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he spent most of his formative years. Dr. Soejima graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and pursued dental research, studying the genetic and environmental causes of cleft lip and palate. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Following this, he completed a highly regarded Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Soejima prides himself on his attention to detail and his never-ending interest in utilizing digital dentistry to make dental procedures more comfortable, efficient, and predictable for all patients. His values align seamlessly with Austin Dental’s commitment to providing patients with the highest quality dental care. He has a particular affinity for third molar extractions with IV Sedation, Implant Surgery, Root Canals, and Cosmetic Dentistry showcasing his dedication to comprehensive and advanced dental procedures. Dr. Soekima continues to learn and educate himself, staying up to date on the constantly evolving field of dentistry.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Soejima enjoys staying active, working out, playing and watching soccer, golf and football. Fun-fact: he’s an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.
